What you will do!

In this role you will care for the animals used in research and development studies.  You will perform duties related to the maintenance of the animals such as feeding and caring for the animals, cleaning cages and holding the animals for treatment by the laboratory technician; Maintain inventory and animal identification records.  You will perform regular cleaning/sanitization of the animal facility and equipment.  You will also be responsible for biosafety and biosecurity of the animals;  May also partner with pre-clinical investigators to assist and support veterinarians with surgery, dosing post-op care and monitoring of animal studies.

Who are we looking for?

A candidate that possesses a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related discipline and one (1) year related research husbandry and technical experience or CVT/LVT/RVT certification and one (1) years related research husbandry and technical experience OR High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years related research husbandry and technical experience required.  AALAS certification at the ALAT level/CALAS initial level required. LAT preferred.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - 28.00 USD per hour.  Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
