What you will do! 

In the Lab Animal Technician role, you will use existing SOPs and quality assurance standards to perform job functions such as: sanitizing, maintaining, and repairing caging materials, and keeping cagewash and animal holding facilities clean and organized; operate and perform routine maintenance on cagewash and autoclave equipment; perform general housekeeping. In addition, you may be tasked with receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supplies, as well as prepare and submit written records, charts, logs, or inventories.  Additional duties may include assisting with animal care activities, such as observations, maintenance, consumables check, and/or animal enrichment; as well as maintaining animal housing areas and environments. You may also work actively with customers to resolve customer requests, inquiries, complaints, and/or provide technical service.

Who are we looking for?  

A candidate that possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; some experience and/or training working with mechanical equipment preferred.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – 21.00 per hour.  Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
