What you’ll do
Perform QC review of study data and perform room inspections. Monitor and track common errors and assist with document medication to reduce error and deviations. Assist with implementing and monitoring quality control (QC) standards, methods, and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring quality control standards, methods, and procedures.
- Monitor and track common deviations and problem documentation.
- Perform general QC practices.
- Assist in recommending form and SOP modifications, and changes to standard protocol wording to avoid deviations.
- Assist in maintaining and revising QC documents, processes and manuals.
- Assist in reviewing deviations.
- Perform QC reviews of study data.
- Perform room inspections.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
Education:
- High school diploma, or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Associate’s Degree in scientific discipline preferred.
Experience:
- No previous experience required.
- One- or two-years related experience in GLP environment preferred.
- Previous and broad QC or QA experience preferred.
- Knowledge and/or background in preclinical technical functions also preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Other:
- Demonstrated leadership and word processing skills.
- Effective written, verbal and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and work/type at a computer.
- Walking and standing for periods of up to 1 hour.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to communicate with other personnel regarding all aspects of a study.
- Regularly provides information to and receives information from/through various technologies, media, sources and contracts.
- Must be able to accurately exchange accurate information in these situations.
Work Environment:
- General office working conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally is required to ear protective clothing (lab coat, shoe covers, safety glasses) when entering laboratory areas.
The pay range for this position is $19-22/hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
