We are seeking an experienced Research Technician Assistant for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, Nevada.
As a Research Technician Assistant, you will have the opportunity to care for all species of animals at our state-of-the-art safety sites. You will learn new skills ranging from animal care and handling of laboratory animals, perform clinical observations, blood collection, drug dosing, and perform accurate data collection and reporting.
The following are minimum requirements related to the Research Technician Assistant position.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)
0-6 months related experience in animal research and/or husbandry preferred.
Ability to handle common laboratory animal species.
Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice regulations preferred.
