Summer Student - Food preparation Clerk

What you’ll do
As a Food Preparation Clerk for our Toxicology team located in Senneville, you will perform food management and prepare daily enrichment given to animals in a way that respects established processes.
In this role, primary responsibilities include:
- Perform the preparation of food, fruits, and enrichment for animal
- Provide a high-quality service to the vivarium staff
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Record and review data such as food consumption
- Manage food inventory
What you’ll need
If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
- You have good dexterity, since this position requires to use cutting and edged objects like knives
Role Specific Information:
- Location: Senneville / Free parking / Shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-De-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
- Salary: $17.25/hrs
- Premiums:
- Weekends : $2.75/hrs
- Overtime : Time and a half
- Holidays: Double time
- Daytime schedule from 8:00 am to 4:15 pm. Depending on the operational needs, you will have to work 5 days between Monday and Sunday
- Temporary position for the summer period, full-time at 37.5hrs per week
