What you’ll do
We are seeking an Animal Care Technician I for our Insourcing Solutions site located in Hamilton, MT.
As the Animal Care Technician I, you will be working in ABSL 4 facility environments to perform a variety of duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, routine preventative maintenance, and repair of caging materials and autoclaves.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Maintaining cagewash and animal holding facilities in a clean and organized manner
- Operating equipment and performing general housekeeping
- General animal care duties
- Receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply orders
- Preparing and submitting all required written records, charts, logs, and inventories
- Work actively with customers to address requests, inquiries, and complaints
- Provide technical assistance
What you’ll need
The following are minimum requirements related to the Animal Care Technician I position:
- High school diploma/GED
- ALAT certification, or ability to obtain certification within one year of eligibility
- Experience and/or training working with mechanical equipment preferred
The pay for this position is $22.00 USD per hour.
