What you’ll do
We are seeking a Facility Support Associate / Day Porter for our Breed Facility in Hollister, CA. As the Facility Support Associate, you are responsible for providing limited custodial services in designated areas of the facility. This includes wiping down surfaces, restocking consumables, and daily waste removal in common areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs daily day porter care of:
- Restrooms (general wipe down, consumables stocking)
- Conference/resources spaces (general wipe down, room preparation, consumables stocking)
- Corridor, entrance, and lobby care (general wipe down, floor mat care, consumables stocking)
- Waste streams removal. (Daily removal at common waste receptacles)
- Other physical environments as assigned.
- Provides removal services for the following waste streams: general waste, recycling, confidential, and biowaste.
- Operates and maintains custodial equipment utilized in daily functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Computer skills, commensurate with Essential Functions, including the ability to learn a validated system.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule to include, but not limited to evenings, weekends, extended shifts, and/or extra shifts, sometimes on short notice.
- Ability to work under specific time constraints.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
