Summer Student - maintenance and sanitation clerk

What you’ll do
Student position – Temporary, full-time. No experience needed.
As a summer student as a maintenance and sanitation clerk for our Toxicology team located at the Laval site, you will be responsible for the welfare of all our research animals. Your success will ensure the health of our animals, as well as the integrity of our preclinical studies.
In this role, primary responsibilities include:
- Prepare and decontaminate animal rooms according to the scheduled schedule;
- Ensure that the materials required for the study are available;
- Handle animals for any activity that requires it;
- Remove household and biomedical waste and dispose of it in the appropriate containers;
- Operate the cage washer.
