What you’ll do
Responsible for performing routine tasks involved in the shipping and receiving of materials, supplies and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive inventory; sort, stock, and distribute supplies to areas according to schedule or direction. Operate hand or power operated fork truck, pallet jack, high bay lift or other motorized equipment to unload and transport supplies or equipment.
- Perform data entry in receiving materials through the inventory control system.
- Responsible for proper handling distribution of chemicals.
- May perform general maintenance duties as needed.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
The pay range for this position is between $20.50 and $22.00/hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
What you’ll need
QUALIFICATIONS:
⦁ Education: High school diploma, General Education Degree (G.E.D.) or equivalent.
⦁ Experience: 1-2 years related warehouse experience required
⦁ Certification/Licensure:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
⦁ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
⦁ The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
⦁ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
⦁ The employee frequently works with moving equipment or machinery.
⦁ The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
