ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  •    Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment within applicable SOP’s, regulatory, and manufacturer guidelines. •    Ensure proper installation and operation of machinery and equipment in order to meet qualification standards. •    Perform troubleshooting activities on equipment as necessary. •    Order equipment, replacement parts, and service as directed by the team lead. •    Coordinate the repair of laboratory equipment by outside vendors. •    Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures via the building automation system and assist with the issuing of deviations. •    Assist with re-qualification validations to meet performance standards and protocols. •    Utilize the CMMS to track and close equipment work orders. •    Tag all new equipment and enter into the CMMS. •    Participates in 24-hour on-call support for freezer/refrigerator as scheduled.  Responds to emergencies as needed. •    Perform all other related duties as assigned.
