What you’ll do
The Distribution Coordinator 1 performs all activities related to receipt, storage, and shipping of both raw and client-specific materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Complies with all current departmental SOPs
•Completes and is current with all required training
•Moves released material to proper storage locations
•Accurately completes required documentation using cGDP to ensure client product is ready to ship in a timely manner while meeting company standards
•Processes Material Request and inbound/outbound shipments
•Maintains accurate documentation on all departmental log including inventory, equipment usage, monitoring, shipping, etc.
•Ensures that raw materials and finish goods are properly labeled, segregated, stored, issued and within expiry dates.
•Preforms Inventory Cycle Counts
•Complies with DOT regulations regarding shipment of dangerous goods.
•Follows all safety and housekeeping standards and ensures assigned area is clean, organized, and safe at all times
•Performing other related duties as assigned by management.
What you’ll need
•Associate degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in materials handling,inventory control and or shipping/receiving. Experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing ordistribution environment is preferred. GMP experience and familiarity with MRP/WMS is a plus.
•Ability to multi-task and quickly refocus as priorities change in a fast-paced environment.
•Proven verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with otherdepartments and management.
•Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required.
•Ability to stand / walk for long periods of time.
•Able to work off-shifts and weekends as job demands dictate.
•Ability to lift 40 pounds without assistance while following proper safety lifting techniques
The pay range for this position is $34,500 - $43,500. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
